My client based in Pinetown seeks a Technical writer.
The successful candidate will be required to produce the following:
Product Instruction Manuals (Acrobat, Photoshop, Freehand, AutoCAD Lite, Microsoft Word)
• Assembly details of hardware devices (Mostly image based with some
• instructions)
• Mechanical drawings (Rudimentary)
• Connection diagrams (Rudimentary)
Hardware Installation Manuals (Acrobat, Photoshop, Freehand, Microsoft Word)
• Device specifications and limits
• Connection diagrams (Rudimentary)
• Maintaining branded and unbranded copies for OEM purposes
Software Manuals (Acrobat, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare)
• Installation and configuring of software modules.
• Maintaining branded and unbranded copies for OEM purposes
• Context sensitive on-line help
Product Specification Catalogues (Acrobat, Photoshop, Microsoft Word)
• Documents that summarize products for marketing purposes.
