National HR Manager 

Our client in Durban requires a National HR Manager.  

 

The ideal candidate must have / be:

  • Relevant Degree and/or Post Graduate Qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years HR Management experience
  • Proven experience in conducting hearing, grievances and attending CCMA cases

The successful candidate will be required to perform / manager the following key performance areas.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding and relating to employees as individuals, thus identifying individual needs and career goals
  • Provide guidelines on appointment of applicants in line with the organizations employment equity plan
  • Developing positive interactions between workers, to ensure collated and positive productivity and development of a standardized organizational culture
  • Identify areas that experience lack of knowledge, insufficient training and appropriate implementing thereof
  • Generate and platform all employees to express their goals and provide the necessary resources to accomplish professional and personal needs
  • Introduce efficient operating practices to minimize risk and generate an overall sense of belonging and accountability
  • Assist Group and Regional Management with the recruitment and selection of staff
  • Empowerment of the organization, to successfully meet strategic goals through the development, implementation ad management of the HR strategy and processes to ensure optimilisation of human capital within our business unit
  • Ensure implementation of the organization Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Represent the organization at CCM cases nationally
  • Maintain accurate records regarding al IR proceedings
  • Participate in the compliance and business improvements for organization and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting
  • Execute the Employment Equity and Diversity initiatives
  • Assisting in organizational structuring and job designing
  • Think strategically, consider long term views in decisions
  • Manage and implement formal appraisal strategy, job descriptions and objectives with management, discipline, grievance, staff promotions, transfers and termination of services through management and evaluation systems


 
Salary:  R35 000 - 40 000 plus benefits
