Our client, a chemical supplier, based in New Germany, seeks a Technical Sales Representative.
Requirements:
- Matric/National Qualification with mathematics
- Experience in a technical/mechanical sales environment
- MS Office Suite (intermediate to advanced)
- Valid (Code 8) Driver’s license
- 2 years relevant sales experience
Responsibilities:
- To manage existing clients and develop new client relationships
- Work with other sales representatives and employees to coordinate account activity
- Follow-up and collect outstanding monies from clients
- Manage clients to meet or exceed annual sales plan and allocated budget
- Outbound lead generation calls to prospective and existing customers to create new sales and upgrade sales opportunities
- Client visits and relationship building
- Prepare and deliver demonstrations and training as per clients’ requests and promote and arrange open days.
- Develop client proposals
- Client technical issue resolution
- Follow-up on and check dispatch orders
- Monitor client accounts
- Follow-up on all client quotes and proposals within 2 hours
- Maintain client records
- Follow-up on and check progress of any workshop items sent in for repairs
- Client stock planning
- Follow-up and keep clients informed about back orders
- Organise equipment where needed to satisfy clients’ needs
- Weekly and monthly progress reports
- Research and report on competitive products
- Prepare business transactions and monthly expenses reports
- Stock management
Salary: R 8 500.00 plus vehicle/ petrol / Medical Aid & Pension/ Good Commission Structure
